Manual Machinist – Shop & Field Service | No CNC | Competitive Pay + Bonus

Pay: $65,000.00–$100,000.00+ per year, based on experience, overtime, travel, and project schedule

About the opportunity:

We are a growing valve service company looking for motivated Manual Machinists who enjoy hands-on precision work, variety, and the opportunity to work both in the shop and in the field. This is a great fit for machinists who take pride in solving real-world mechanical challenges using manual lathes, mills, and field machining equipment.

You’ll join a team that values skill, reliability, safety, and craftsmanship. The role includes shop work, customer-site field work, travel opportunities, and overtime during busy project seasons.

Hiring incentive: $3,000 stay-on bonus after 60 days.

What you’ll do:

· Set up and operate manual engine lathes, mills, and field machining equipment

· Perform precision manual machining work in both shop and field environments

· Support valve service projects at customer sites

· Use measuring tools, hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment, and related shop equipment

· Complete required safety, product, and development training

· Maintain accurate paperwork, including timesheets and job documentation

What we’re looking for:

· Manual machining experience; this is not a CNC role

· Ability to work confidently on manual lathes and mills

· ACME threading experience preferred

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality

· Willingness to follow supervisor and manager direction

· Ability to pass required background and drug testing

Schedule and travel:

· Full-time and part-time opportunities available

· Day shift, night shift, weekend availability, holidays, on-call work, and overtime may be required based on project needs

· Travel is required, typically during spring and fall field project seasons

· Field assignments may run several weeks per project, with some weeks ranging from 40–72 hours

· Willingness to travel up to 50% and potentially more than 20 weeks per year is required
