Full Job Description

Valley View Home is a very family-oriented nursing home with a licensed bed of 96. Staff and residents alike work together to ensure a calm and peaceful environment which is proven with phenomenal quality measure ratings time and time again! We are proud of our accomplishments and will work together to maintain our standards.

We are now actively recruiting a licensed nursing home administrator!

Position Summary:
The Nursing Home Administrator provides leadership and direction for overall facility operations to provide quality patient care in accordance with Montana state laws, federal regulations, and Valley View Home standards. Your duties will include overseeing key areas including financial operations, human resources, customer service, business development, social services, and clinical operations. This includes implementation of new policies pertaining to patient care, caregiving, and support staff, financial control, public relations, and maintenance of physical plant through consultation with the facility management team. The administrator will work closely with the Board of Directors in meeting budget and facility needs.

Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements:

Have a bachelor's degree, or long-term experience in health care related fields
Be currently licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator and will be able to gain Montana NHA license within a six month time period. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment
If not having administrator experience, you must be willing to work as an Administrator-in-training (AIT) while working toward the required educational goals/licenses

Specific Job Requirements:

Be able to read and interpret financial records and reports
Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
Have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department
Perform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to: patient rights, and safety and sanitation
Maintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
Understand and follow Valley View Home company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
Displays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Valley View Home Code of Conduct and completes mandatory Code of Conduct and other appropriate compliance training

Essential Functions:

Ensure facility is compliant with all Federal, State, and local requirements as well as serve as the facility's Compliance Liaison
Ensure facility is clean and safe for the comfort, convenience and safety of patients, families, and staff
Ensure census goals are met
Prepare and operate within annual budget (approved by the Board of Directors)
Effectively supervise team
Must exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $92,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
