CPA / Tax Accountant

Location: Billings, MT
Job Type: Full-Time (Part-Time Considered)

What You'll Do

As a CPA/Tax Accountant, you will:

Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns.
Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients.
Prepare financial statements and assist with accounting engagements.
Perform financial analysis and identify tax-saving opportunities.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Assist with payroll tax compliance and related reporting.
Build strong client relationships through responsive, professional service.
Collaborate with partners and staff to support client growth and firm success.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who has:

Active CPA license.
Five or more years of recent public accounting experience with an emphasis in tax.
Strong background in tax preparation and planning.
Experience with QuickBooks and Lacerte tax software is preferred.
Knowledge of payroll and payroll tax compliance.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
High ethical standards and strong attention to detail.
A collaborative attitude and commitment to outstanding client service.
