Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Escrow Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate requires a minimum of 2 years of escrow experience and will be responsible for managing the escrow process for real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with all regulations and providing exceptional service to clients. This role requires a strong understanding of financial services, underwriting processes, and escrow management. Depending on experience, plus incentives!

Responsibilities

Oversee the entire escrow process from initiation to closing, ensuring all documents are accurate and complete.
Coordinate with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, and lenders to facilitate smooth transactions.
Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other relevant laws throughout the escrow process.
Conduct credit analysis and verify financial information related to transactions.
Prepare and review closing documents in accordance with TILA and FNMA guidelines.
Maintain accurate records of all transactions and manage the disbursement of funds in accordance with established procedures.
Provide guidance to clients regarding the escrow process, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
Collaborate with loan officers and mortgage servicing teams to ensure timely processing of loans related to escrow transactions.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Escrow Officer or similar role within the financial services industry.
Strong knowledge of escrow processes, underwriting principles, and mortgage servicing practices.
Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations, TILA guidelines, FNMA standards, and credit analysis techniques.
Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail for accurate document preparation and financial calculations.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused approach.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
