Lead Our Team as Bakery General Manager at Alta Bakery and Cafe!

Are you ready to take the next step in your career and lead a dedicated team in a vibrant, community-centered environment? Alta Bakery and Cafe, located in beautiful Monterey, CA, is looking for a passionate and experienced Bakery General Manager to oversee our operations. If you have a love for exceptional baked goods, a knack for leadership, and at least two years of experience in a management role, we’d love to hear from you!

What You'll Be Doing

As our Bakery General Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our bakery and cafe. Your responsibilities will include:

Overseeing all aspects of bakery and cafe operations, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory management.
Leading and inspiring a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Maintaining product quality and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
Managing budgets, monitoring costs, and driving profitability.
Collaborating with the team to develop new ideas and improve processes.
Fostering a positive work environment that aligns with Alta Bakery and Cafe’s values.

What We're Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should bring:

At least 2 years of experience in a management or leadership role, preferably in the food service or hospitality industry.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage a 50-hour work week.
A passion for high-quality food and customer service.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
A proactive, hands-on approach to leadership.
