Full Job Description

Peak Family Medicine is recruiting a Medical Assistant to join our growing primary care team. We are seeking experienced MA candidates and experience with ECW is preferred. Starting compensation is dependent upon education and experience with higher starting pay available for current LPNs, EMTs and Certified MAs.

This position requires initiative, continual learning and dedication to provide outstanding team-based care. Our clinic is open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. A typical MA schedule is 4-10 hour shifts or 5-8 hour shifts per week. There are no nights and Saturday shifts are limited.

All of our Medical Assistants are trained in and frequently perform:

Blood Draws
Injections
EKG
Performing in house labs and tests
Collection of accurate patient data including patient vitals
Reconciliation of patient medication lists
Answering calls related to medical issues and relaying those issues to the provider
Cleaning and preparation of exam rooms including sterilization of equipment
Assisting during in-office procedures
Call patients and follow up on orders, labs, etc.

Proficient Computer and typing skills
Microsoft Office
Electronic Medical records
