Full Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CNC Mill Machinist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be required to independently setup and operate 3, 4 & 5 Axis Haas CNC milling machines to produce precision components that meet strict quality Aerospace standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in machining processes, blueprint reading, and use of precision measurement tools. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced equipment and contribute to innovative manufacturing projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Independently set up and operate CNC milling machines
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to produce accurate parts
Conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, etc.
Select appropriate tooling and work holding for new setups; perform tool changes efficiently to minimize downtime
Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and improve productivity while adhering to safety standards

Qualifications

Proven experience operating and setting up CNC milling machines, particularly Haas or similar controls
Understanding of CNC G-Code programming, Speeds and Feeds, and blueprint reading skills
Mechanical aptitude with basic math skills for measurements and calculations during setup and inspection
Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges accurately
Experience working with tooling selection, setup, and maintenance in a manufacturing environment
