Your Job
The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative and operational support across key HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, employee records, benefits, payroll coordination, communications, and employee engagement. This role helps ensure HR processes are accurate, timely, compliant, and supportive of a positive employee experience.
What you Will do in Your Role
- Maintain accurate documentation for employee relations matters, workplace concerns, investigations, corrective actions, and performance management processes under the direction of HR leadership.
- Provide administrative support for recruiting and candidate management, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, pre-employment coordination, and file completion.
- Lead onboarding coordination and new hire compliance activities by preparing materials, collecting required documentation, coordinating orientation logistics, and ensuring new hire records are complete and accurate.
- Provide administrative support for employee benefits questions, enrollment documentation, benefit changes, and escalation of complex benefits matters as needed.
- Lead employee records administration by maintaining personnel files, HRIS data, employment documentation, and required records in accordance with company standards and confidentiality requirements.
- Complete HR metrics data entry, reporting support, and routine data maintenance to ensure HR information is accurate, timely, and accessible for decision-making.
- Lead employee communications and engagement coordination, including preparing announcements, supporting recognition activities, assisting with plant events, and helping drive a positive employee experience.
- Maintain documentation related to safety compliance, incident coordination, workers’ compensation, and return-to-work activities while partnering with HR, Safety, Operations, and Training as needed.
- Support the administrative documentation of training related records for mandatory safety and compliance training, skills matrix updates, and cross-training documentation in partnership with the Training Lead and HR team.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- 1-3 years of administrative, human resources, recruiting, payroll, or related experience preferred; manufacturing or industrial experience is a plus.
- Basic understanding of HR practices, employment documentation, confidentiality requirements, and employee support processes.
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to support employees at all levels.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and follow-through in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with Ceridian Dayforce or another HRIS/payroll system is preferred.
