Full Job Description

Job Title: Marketing Specialist

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute local marketing campaigns for UMe Tea stores in the Bay Area, including new product launches, holiday promotions, store events, brand collaborations, and community activities.
Support the full process of new product launches, including campaign planning, timeline management, marketing materials, store communication, social media support, execution follow-up, and post-campaign review.
Develop marketing plans for key holidays and brand moments, such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Halloween, Christmas, anniversary events, and seasonal promotions.
Organize in-store and community engagement activities to increase customer participation, store traffic, and brand awareness.
Coordinate marketing materials, including posters, signage, stickers, menus, displays, merchandise, and event props, ensuring all stores execute campaigns accurately and on time.
Work closely with store teams, operations, product, design, supply chain, and management to make sure campaigns are well planned and properly executed.
Assist with social media content planning, store content collection, photoshoots, short-form videos, influencer/KOC visits, and customer feedback gathering.
Track campaign performance and prepare post-campaign summaries, including sales results, customer feedback, execution issues, and improvement suggestions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in marketing, event planning, or content creation (internship experience also considered).
Detail-oriented, organized, responsible, and able to follow through on projects.
Strong execution ability; willing to visit stores, communicate with store teams, check materials, and ensure plans are properly implemented.
Passionate about food & beverage, boba tea, retail, lifestyle brands, and social media trends.
Able to plan campaigns around product launches, holidays, and brand events.
Strong communication and coordination skills across multiple teams.
Able to manage timelines, follow up on tasks, identify problems, and push projects forward.
Bilingual English and Mandarin preferred.
Familiarity with Bay Area local culture, young consumers, and community events is a plus.
Experience in food & beverage, retail, brand marketing, event execution, or social media marketing is preferred.

Nice to Have

Experience with offline event planning and execution.
Experience supporting product launches or holiday campaigns.
Basic skills in photography, video editing, Canva, CapCut, Instagram, TikTok, Xiaohongshu, or other social platforms.
Familiarity with Bay Area local influencers, student groups, community organizations, or event resources.
Experience working with restaurant, beverage, retail, or multi-location brands.
