Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in food preparation and handling, with a particular focus on creating delicious pastries. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality to our customers. You will be responsible for crafting a variety of baked goods that not only taste great but also look visually appealing. You will be following our in house recipes with space to bring what you like to the public. This position is available any day and any time you are available.

Duties

Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the development of new dessert recipes and menu items that align with seasonal offerings.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Manage inventory of baking supplies, including ordering and receiving ingredients as needed.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining high-quality standards.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests regarding dessert options and accommodating special requests.

Experience

Proven experience as a Pastry Cook or in a similar role within a restaurant or bakery setting is preferred.
Strong skills in food preparation, food handling, and knowledge of kitchen equipment.
Proficiency in cake decorating techniques and an understanding of various baking methods.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent knife skills and familiarity with kitchen tools used in pastry preparation.
A passion for baking and creating innovative desserts that delight customers.
