Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) / Front Desk Receptionist

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | No Weekends

The Mid-Atlantic Concussion (MAC) Alliance is a growing network of medical professionals, physical therapists, and athletic trainer affiliates serving patients throughout Delaware, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and New Jersey.

We are committed to providing patients with high-quality concussion testing, treatment, and long-term care management through our network of dedicated healthcare professionals.

About the Position

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and organized Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) / Front Desk Receptionist to join our medical practice.

This is a dual front-office and clinical role ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with patients and is comfortable balancing administrative responsibilities with clinical support. The successful candidate will be professional, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced medical office environment.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and provide a warm, professional experience.
Check patients in and out and maintain accurate patient records.
Answer multi-line telephone calls and assist patients with questions.
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments.
Verify patient information and update electronic medical records.
Perform administrative duties, including scanning, faxing, filing, and data entry.
Assist with daily front-office operations.
Maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Perform other clinical Medical Assistant duties as needed.
Support the team in delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Qualifications

Required:

Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.
Minimum 2 years of medical front desk experience.
Minimum 2 years of medical scheduling experience.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy medical office.
Professional, dependable, and team-oriented work ethic.

Preferred:

Previous experience in a physician's office or outpatient clinic.
Experience with Azalea Health EHR.
Experience performing both front-office and clinical Medical Assistant duties.
