Full Job Description

TCBX Trucking is growing, and we’re looking for a dependable, friendly, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our office team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying organized, helping customers, and keeping a busy office running smoothly. You will play an important role in supporting our customers, drivers, office staff, and management.

The ideal candidate is professional, comfortable speaking on the phone, able to manage multiple priorities, and willing to learn the day-to-day operations of the trucking industry.

What You’ll Do

Answer incoming phone calls promptly, professionally, and with a helpful attitude
Direct calls and messages to the appropriate team members
Calculate shipping rates and prepare accurate customer quotes
Organize, label, scan, and file transportation documents, including Bills of Lading and Proofs of Delivery
Make sure paperwork is complete, accurate, and easy to locate
Assist customers with requests for invoices, Bills of Lading, Proofs of Delivery, and other billing documents
Provide general administrative support to office staff and management
Assist with additional clerical and office duties as needed

What We’re Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous administrative or office experience preferred
Transportation or logistics experience is helpful but not required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A professional and friendly phone presence
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email, scanners, and other office equipment
Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
Dependable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude
