Full Job Description

Position Summary

Scenic Automotive Group is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented HR/Payroll Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our dealership by assisting with Human Resources, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Title Processing, and a variety of administrative functions. The ideal candidate is a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains confidentiality, and is willing to assist wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and process vehicle title work, registration paperwork, and related documentation in compliance with state regulations.
Provide administrative support to dealership management and office staff.
Backup to Assist with Human Resources functions, including new hire onboarding, employee files, benefits administration, and maintaining confidential personnel records.
Backup to Process weekly or bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
Backup Maintain payroll records and assist with payroll reporting and employee payroll inquiries.
Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems.
Answer phones, greet customers and vendors, and provide professional customer service.
Prepare reports, correspondence, and spreadsheets as needed.
Order office supplies and maintain office inventory.
Cross-train in multiple office functions and provide coverage for administrative staff during vacations, absences, or peak business periods.
Assist with special projects and perform additional administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of administrative or office experience; automotive dealership experience is preferred.
Experience with payroll processing, Human Resources, Accounts Payable, and/or automotive title work is highly preferred.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); dealership management system experience is a plus.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and assist across departments.
