Senior Mechanical & Plumbing Construction Manager
Location: Pennsylvania / Mid-Atlantic Region
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role
Whitegate Mechanical is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical & Plumbing Construction Manager to oversee projects from estimating through to successful completion. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring expertise in estimating, preconstruction, and project delivery across commercial plumbing and HVAC projects.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate plumbing and HVAC estimates and manage bid submissions.
Lead preconstruction planning, procurement, scheduling, and project handovers.
Manage awarded projects, supporting project teams to deliver work safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
Work closely with clients, general contractors, suppliers, and field teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Identify project risks, resolve issues proactively, and support change order management.

Essential Requirements

Strong commercial plumbing and HVAC estimating experience.
Proven preconstruction knowledge, including procurement, scheduling, and project planning.
Demonstrable project and site management experience on commercial construction projects.
Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
Excellent commercial awareness, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland.

Preferred Experience

7+ years' experience in commercial mechanical construction.
Background as a Senior Estimator, Project Manager, Superintendent, or Construction Manager.
Experience delivering commercial plumbing and HVAC projects valued between $500,000 and $10M+.
Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, PlanSwift, BuildingConnected, or similar software.

Pay: $80,518.51 - $110,559.92 per year
