Quality Inspection Supervisor

Location: Goldsboro, NC
Employment: Full-Time | 100% Onsite*
Work Schedule: M-F 1st shift | Weekends as needed

We are seeking a Quality Inspection Supervisor to lead a team responsible for ensuring world-class product quality within a growing manufacturing operation. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys mentoring others, championing continuous improvement, and deepening their knowledge of electrical transformers and the critical role they play in powering communities and industries.

What You'll Do

As the Quality Inspection Supervisor, you will serve as both a leader and technical resource for your team, ensuring products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team of quality inspection professionals.
Foster a culture of accountability, quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Ensure quality programs and processes support business objectives and customer expectations.
Conduct quality audits, investigations, and root-cause analyses to drive corrective actions.
Act as a technical resource and troubleshoot process interruptions and quality concerns.
Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training new team members.
Evaluate employee performance and provide ongoing coaching and development.
Support Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Partner cross-functionally with production, engineering, and operations teams to improve processes and product quality.
Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.

We're Looking For:

Required

Associate degree in a related field or equivalent leadership experience.
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with continuous improvement initiatives, SPC techniques, Lean Manufacturing principles, or Six Sigma methodologies.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and employee development skills.

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
Six Sigma certification.
Experience in quality management, manufacturing operations, or industrial production environments.
