Full Job Description

Provide the highest quality urologic and urologic oncologic patient care possible by combining innovative treatments with human compassion.

Gain and keep patients' trust by treating their individual needs with respect. Provide the highest quality urologic/ urologic oncologic care possible with customized treatment plans for each patient. Add value to our shared community through research, education, and volunteer work.

Position Responsibilities:

The CMA will assist their assigned provider with patient care during time of service, as well as follow up with patient communication and results after time of service.

Review, sign and maintain all clinical protocols as relayed by the Office Manager.
Ensure accurate documentation with a clear audit trail.
Complete patient chart prep for your assigned provider prior to visit as per protocol.
At time of service, triage patients for assigned provider including obtained patient medical history medications and vitals per protocol.
Ensure MIPS compliance throughout the clinical workflow for your assigned provider as per protocol
Complete clinical tasks assigned to your assigned provider as per protocol.
Complete medication pre-authorizations for your provider as per protocol.
Monitor ordered, pending, scheduled and returned tests & procedures for your assigned provider as per protocol.
Perform other tasks as needed or directed by the management team or physician partners.

Benefits:

Regular Schedule/ Hours (Monday – Friday, 8 am - 5 pm)
Half Day Fridays every other week upon completion of 90-day probationary period
Competitive Salary with regular merit increases based on work performance, plus the potential of referral bonus and quarterly bonuses upon completion of 90-day probationary period
Accrued PTO of up to 18 days in the first year of employment with PTO roll over of 10 days (80 hours) per calendar year and PTO payout of additional unused hours
Paid Holidays plus additional paid half-days (8 holidays, 2 half-days)

Qualifications (Required):

Required license: Certified Medical Assistant or equivalent
Employee must be able to communicate clearly with patients
Employee must be able to keep an organized workflow and effectively manage multiple tasks at one time
Employee must be able to be active and mobile for an eight hour period

Qualifications (Preferred):

Knowledge of Allscripts is a plus
