Full Job Description

Job Requirements:

Accustomed to multimeters and know how to test continuity/resistance, voltage, current, and frequency.
Ability to read and understand schematics, wiring diagrams and Blueprints.
Ability to trouble shoot, identify and correct problems in the field.
4+ years of progressively responsible experience in the AC trade.
4+ years performing AC equipment installations, connections, wiring, and testing.
Experienced Level 4 is preferred.
Safely drive company-owned and or rented vehicles/ trailers.
Knowledgeable “some” in Words and Excel.
Maintain documentation of projects.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Must maintain customer standards on all aspects of the project.
Must have own tools for the trade. (Hand tools, Drill and Impact, Socket Set, Allen keys, Hole Saws, and other tools of the trade.)
Must have a reliable transportation.
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and background check. (No Felonies)
High school diploma or equivalent.
Willing to travel
We service customers in the critical power industry, and this work requires nighttime cutovers during transition periods related to our work. This position requires travel since we work within an 8-state radius and are growing.

Benefits:

Health insurance (Medical – Company pays 75% and employee 25%, Dental and Vision available if the employee chooses)
Guarantee per diem at $150 a day (For nights spent out town)
Company Vehicle after 90-days with a clean driving record (Leads Only).
We work 2-man teams.

Schedule:

10-hour shift
Monday to Thursday (Friday and Weekend – “when applicable”)

Experience:

DC Power Plant installations, Primary and Secondary Cabling, Cat 6E cable installation, Iron Work related to cable racking and Stanchions, and Fiber Guide installation.
Experienced in installation of Generators, Transfer Switches, Inverters, Manual Transfer Switches, Automatic Transfer Switches, Switchgear, Panels, Power Meters with CT's.
Experienced in controls, monitoring and programming.
Must be able to program FAPS and Controllers.
Ability to perform Feeder and Branch Circuit installations, cutting and threading of conduits, ability to install work in a professional workmanship manner.
Computer skills related to the trade.

License/Certification:

Journeyman License (Required).
