Job Brief

Lonestar Dock Products, a company of Ideal Warehouse Innovations, is hiring for a highly skilled and strategic Warehouse and Production Manager to oversee our warehouse and production operations at our Hughes Springs facility. This role is responsible for managing inventory, optimizing workflows, leading teams, and ensuring operational efficiency. The Warehouse and Production Manager will play a key role in maintaining high safety and quality standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, experience in production and warehouse management in a high-volume distribution setting, and a proven track record of implementing best practices in logistics, supply chain, and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Inventory Management:

Strategically manage warehouse operations in compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Oversee receiving, storage, distribution, and order fulfillment to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Maintain efficient space utilization and warehouse layout for optimal storage and workflow.
Implement and enforce safety, hygiene, and security protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Owns inventory accuracy for all warehoused goods. Monitor and analyze inventory levels, ensuring accuracy through daily and weekly audits and reconciliation.

Production & Operational Efficiency:

Lead production planning and optimization to improve output, quality, and cost efficiency.
Coordinate with teams to maintain equipment readiness and production schedules.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
Ensure production goals are met while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Oversee and manage workflows, labor efficiency, and process improvements.
Responsible for uptime and preventative maintenance for all equipment.
Responsible for asset management for all productions tools and supplies.
Responsible for all raw material, rubber, work-in-process and finished goods management in the production area.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

Recruit, train, and mentor warehouse and production staff, ensuring high performance.
Lead production and warehouse supervisors for this facility and collaborate with cross-functional teams on company and department objectives
Set clear expectations, monitor performance, and conduct regular evaluations and feedback sessions.
Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.

Strategic Planning & Compliance:

Develop and execute long-term strategies to enhance warehouse and production efficiency.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation.
Generate performance reports and KPIs to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Maintain quality KPIs and health and safety KPIs in a consistent basis.

Health & Safety:

Results-driven with extensive experience in implementing and overseeing health and safety programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and company standards.
Skilled in conducting risk assessments, developing OSHA-compliant safety training programs
Ability to foster a culture of workplace safety to minimize hazards and enhance operational efficiency

Qualifications & Skills

5–8 years of leadership experience in warehouse, production, or manufacturing operations.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software.
Experience in Microsoft Business Central 365 is an asset.
Strong background in logistics, supply chain management, and process optimization.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a results-driven approach.
Strong organizational and strategic planning abilities.
Hands-on experience with production planning, forecasting, and inventory control.
Knowledge of health & safety regulations and quality assurance standards.
Outstanding communication and leadership skills to manage teams effectively.
