Full Job Description

Associated Services is a local, family-owned company that has been in business since 1972. We are the premier snack, coffee and water service provider to local businesses across the greater Bay Area.

We are currently looking for an individual to assist with Accounts Receivable duties. The individual should have previous work experience in billing, data entry, and customer service.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Wage is $26-$29 per hour, depending on experience.

This is an in person position in our San Leandro office.

Job Responsibilities:

Accurately prepare and send invoices to clients
Record daily payments, checks and credit card transactions
Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments
Contact clients to collect past-due balances by phone or e-mail
Update customer account information and records
Respond to customer inquiries and disputes
Reconcile payment records to fix any errors
Create reports for management
Answer calls and assist customers with ordering or service calls
Other duties as assigned - this position will grow.

Requirements and Skills:

A high degree of accuracy
Great attention to detail
Strong customer service skills
Ability to calculate and manage accounting figures
Basic understanding of accounting principles
Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook

Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour
