We’re hiring a Video Ad Creator who is comfortable on and off camera to join the team behind some of the most viral car giveaway campaigns on the internet. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire position based in Utah.

We’re looking for a performance-driven storyteller who’s confident both on camera and behind it. Someone who can plan, film, and edit video ads that not only grab attention but drive action and brings results.

You’ll create direct-response style ads for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube, working closely with our marketing and media teams to test hooks, track performance, and scale what works. Your content won’t just entertain, it will inspire millions to believe they could be the next person behind the wheel of their dream car.

Role:

In this role, you’ll be one of the faces and the creative force behind high-performing video ads across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.

You’ll plan, script, film, and edit short-form video advertisements that capture attention fast, tell a story, and drive real results — from clicks to conversions.

You’ll work closely with our Marketing and Media team, the same group behind some of the most viral car giveaway campaigns online, to create content that stops thumbs, builds trust, and inspires people to take their shot at owning their dream car.

You’ll be both strategist and storyteller: testing new hooks and optimizing creative to scale what works.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for someone who thrives in front of the camera, loves connecting with audiences, and understands how to turn creativity into performance.

Who You Are:

You live and breathe performance ads
You understand what makes people stop scrolling, pay attention, and take action. You know how to combine storytelling, emotion, and persuasion to turn a video into measurable results.

You’ve done this before
You’ve created ads that convert, not just content that looks good. You’ve driven clicks and sales through video and can prove your results.

You think like a marketer
You know how to blend creative instincts with strategy. You understand different types of ad funnels, targeting, and what drives action at every stage. Every frame has a purpose.

You can edit with intent
You’re fluent in tools like Premiere Pro, CapCut, or Final Cut and know how to craft ads that hit hard in the first three seconds and keep attention till the end. You edit for emotion, energy, engagement, clicks and conversions.

You understand data
You don’t just look at metrics, you listen to them. Hook rate, watch time, CTR, and ROAS guide your creative decisions and help you spot what’s working (and what’s not).

You can juggle multiple campaigns
You’re used to balancing new creative concepts, variations, and feedback cycles — keeping everything organized while moving fast.

You’re obsessed with details
You catch the small things others may miss. Pacing, sound design, visual rhythm, text overlays because you know those tiny tweaks can make or break performance.

You communicate clearly
You can confidently share creative direction, explain your thought process, and collaborate easily with media buyers.

You’re adaptable
Algorithms change, platforms evolve, and trends shift — you can adjust in real time. You’re always learning, testing, and staying ahead of the curve.

You’ve got experience
2+ years of experience creating direct-response or performance-style video ads for eCommerce.

Bonus: You use AI tools
You’re comfortable leveraging AI Tools to speed up workflows, brainstorm new concepts, and improve efficiency without losing creativity.

The Results You Bring:
Create scroll-stopping video ads daily
Concept, script, and produce 2–3 high-performing short-form video ads for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube that are built to stop thumbs and drive conversions.

Understand what sells
You don’t just make cool videos, you make ads that convert. You know how to blend story, psychology, and visuals to create emotion that drives action.

Stay ahead of ad trends
Watch what’s working across the eCommerce, automotive, and creator spaces and then adapt and test new ideas that keep our ads feeling fresh and competitive.

Edit with a marketer’s eye
Cut videos not just for style, but for performance. You know how to optimize hooks, pacing, captions, and CTAs to grab attention in the first second and hold it.

Test, analyze, optimize, repeat
Monitor creative performance daily, share insights with the team, and make fast adjustments based on data. If something works, you double down. If it doesn’t, you pivot fast.

Collaborate with the creative and media teams
Work hand-in-hand with our media team and ad buyers to align creative ideas with campaign strategy and audience insights.

Craft story-driven ads
Turn raw footage, testimonials, or UGC into emotionally charged stories.

Pitch and plan new ad concepts
Bring new bold ideas to the table.

Own your numbers
You understand the metrics that matter: CTR, thumb-stop ratio, hook rate, view-through, CPA, and ROAS — and you’re driven to improve them week over week.

Stay organized and efficient
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, track creative testing calendars, and keep everything labeled and accessible for the team.

Leverage AI and automation
Use AI tools to streamline your editing and concepting process, helping you produce more, faster, and smarter.

Evolve our ad library
Continuously refresh 80Eighty’s ad bank with new hooks, stories, formats, and styles to keep performance sharp and fatigue low.
