Full Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead our finance team and oversee all aspects of accounting operations. This pivotal role involves ensuring compliance with accounting standards, managing financial reporting, and supporting strategic financial initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in payroll coupled with excellent leadership skills to mentor and develop team members. Responsibilities

Oversee the preparation of financial statements.
Manage complex accounting functions including general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable management, and journal entries.
Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements, including SEC reporting and other governmental filings.
Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including balance sheet reconciliation and financial analysis.
Collaborate with auditors during audits, providing necessary documentation and resolving issues efficiently.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial management activities to align with organizational goals.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information while ensuring adherence to accounting standards and compliance regulations.
Be able to complete payroll weekly.
