Full Job Description

Now Hiring: Front Desk & Administrative Coordinator

The Boys & Girls Club of the Grand Strand is seeking a highly organized, professional, and friendly individual to serve as the first point of contact for our members, families, visitors, and community partners.

Our Front Desk & Administrative Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring daily operations run smoothly while providing exceptional customer service to everyone who enters our Club. We are looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to maintain a welcoming and positive environment, even during busy periods.

Schedule

Monday–Friday
Hours may vary based on program needs.
Occasional staff meetings, training sessions, and special events may be required.

Responsibilities

Greet parents, members, visitors, volunteers, and community partners in a professional and welcoming manner.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls while providing accurate information and excellent customer service.
Manage daily student attendance by scanning members in and out using MyClubHub.
Maintain accurate attendance and administrative records.
Assist with visitor check-ins and ensure all required procedures are followed.
Obtain parent or guardian signatures for incident reports, discipline documentation, and other required forms.
Organize, file, and maintain both physical and electronic records.
Assist with registration, paperwork, data entry, and general administrative support.
Communicate professionally with parents regarding routine questions and concerns.
Support staff and leadership with additional clerical duties and special projects as needed.
Help maintain an organized, efficient, and welcoming front office environment.

Qualifications

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Professional verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable learning and utilizing technology and data management systems, including MyClubHub.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
Previous administrative, receptionist, or customer service experience is preferred.
Must successfully pass all required background screenings.
