Full Job Description

Job description:

The Bellamy Law Firm, a well-established law firm serving the Grand Strand community, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Litigation Paralegal to join our Myrtle Beach office. We welcome applicants with a paralegal certificate or degree (or equivalent experience).

Key Responsibilities:

Organize and maintain files from intake through resolution
Draft letters, pleadings, motions, orders, discovery, subpoenas, and deposition notices
Coordinate and organize large-scale document intake and production including e-discovery
File documents in State and Federal Courts
Schedule and maintain litigation calendar including client meetings, depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial
Prepare and organize exhibits for depositions, hearings, and trial
Correspondence with clients, attorneys, and court staff
Legal research
Potential client intake

Qualifications:

Prior experience in civil litigation
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active files simultaneously
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, and court staff
Proficiency with basic computer applications and office software including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, and PDF-XChange Editor
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
