Full Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

Administrative Assistant #2

Part –Time 10 to 15 hours per week

Rural & Migrant Ministry, Inc. is a non-denominational, non-sectarian tax-exempt charitable organization under IRS Code 501[c][3].

In accordance with Rural & Migrant Ministry, Inc.’s Vision and Mission Statements, RMM must ensure the good and safe stewardship of the funds which have been entrusted to it. Our Financial and Control Policy is designed and implemented to ensure an accurate, reliable and verifiable system of checks and balances.

The purpose of this position is to assist the Administrative Director with various administrative tasks including but not limited to hospitality, property maintenance, mail, vehicle registrations, answering phones, memo updates and distribution.

1. Assist with research of upcoming projects, reporting back trends and oddities, donor support

2. Picking up mail from the post offices, delivering mail to the post offices

3. Answering the office phones, taking messages, delivering messages.

4. Organizing travel arrangements and food for board members and colleagues

5. Making copies when needed

6. Ensuring campus is ready for events

7. Stuffing envelopes, folding letters, helping with appeals and bulk mailings

8. Organizing areas both physical and digital

9. Hospitality, assisting with meeting vendors, welcoming people to grail, registration at major events, aiding in creating a warm environment for visitors

10.Filing paperwork, setting up for meetings, copying and presenting agendas, heating areas for use

11. Inputting data into etapestry, organizing lists in etapestry, creating etapestry reports

12. Monitoring and maintaining the fleet of vehicles including inspections and registrations.

13. Must work in office in Cornwall 3 to 5 times a week

14. Send thank you letters, update board lists, and update the staff sheet as needed

15. Additional duties as assigned.

This position reports to the Administrative Director and salary is $18 to $20 an hour .
