Full Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Parts and Supplies Coordinator position is responsible for tracking, ordering, stocking and distributing parts and supplies for the Sanitation, Maintenance and Production departments. This position works collaboratively with department leads to receive parts and supply orders; review for accuracy; and place purchase orders within the FIIX program. This position also cleans and organizes the parts and supply storage areas.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Sanitation Supplies

Check and maintain inventory of Sanitation Supplies.
Input weekly supply Purchase Orders in the Fiix Program and submit for approval.
Input any additional supply requests.
Send Purchase Orders to suppliers.
Check deliveries daily, receive the contents on Fiix and close out Purchase Orders.
Receive packages on the “Receive” app
Put inventory items into stock.
Organize delivery of supplies to all buildings on a timely basis.
Comparison shop as appropriate.

Engineering / Maintenance Parts

Assist in inputting Purchase Orders for parts and submit for approval.
Send Purchase Orders to Suppliers.
Check deliveries daily, receive the contents on Fiix and close out Purchase Orders.
Receive packages on the “Receive” app.
Check notes in the Purchase Order to see who ordered the part. Either notify them of their delivery or organize delivery of supplies to recipients.
Input supplies in FIIX.
Identify and order low stock items.

OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Follows all safety and food safety Company protocols.
Reports all safety or quality problems to management, QA, and SQF practitioner.
Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS and COMPETENCIES:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Associate's Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer skills required: FIIX CMMS Software; Microsoft Office Suite, Package Receiving App

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Schedule is onsite in Congers, NY, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm and additional hours as needed.

Occasionally works around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals.
Frequently exposed to outside weather conditions.
Occasionally exposed to extreme heat or cold (non-weather).
While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds / frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds / continually lift and/or move up to 5 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision; distance vision; color vision; peripheral vision; depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Specialized equipment, machines, or vehicles used: Pallet Jack, portable ladder
