Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Home Inspector at Pillar To Post Home Inspectors. As a Home Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of residential properties, evaluating the condition of various systems and components, and preparing detailed inspection reports for clients.

Qualifications

Knowledge of residential property systems and components
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients
Attention to detail and strong observational skills
Certification as a Home Inspector (Preferred, not required)
Physical ability to climb, crawl, and access confined spaces during inspections
Ability to lift up to 60lbs and use a ladder
Ability to stand and inspect for extended periods of time
May be subjected to drug screening during employment at random notice
Understand the importance of quality and consistent customer service
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Great listening skills
Proficient computer skills and ability to use various tech equipment
Have the aptitude and mental ability to problem solve and conduct professional conversations with real estate agents and customers
Integrity and strong work ethic. Punctual and ability to work unsupervised
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and insurance
Must be able to work in various weather conditions, climb ladders, walk on roofs, access crawl space, enter attics as well as stand for long periods of time
Ability to pass all employment screening and technical knowledge exam
Required to authorize background and driving checks
Available to work some evenings and weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
