Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a competent and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical systems in commercial and industrial projects. This role requires strong analytical skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers and clients.

Responsibilities

Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project documents to prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical systems

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to define project scope and requirements

Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes to ensure competitive pricing

Prepare and present bid proposals, budgets, and cost breakdowns

Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering alternatives

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and labor costs

Assist in post-bid reviews and project handovers to operations teams

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in commercial and/or industrial construction

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and construction practices

Excellent mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Strong communication and negotiation skills
