Full Job Description

Project Manager Landscape

This position is responsible for the management of municipal/commercial/residential landscape clients. This position is responsible for increasing sales and profitability through relationship building and client retention.

The individual selected for this position should be self motivated, organized and have good communication skills. Candidates must have the ability to adapt to a fast paced environment. Strong sales skills as well as the ability to effectively manage people as well as several projects simultaneously are required. The candidate should embrace the core values of CityEscape as outlined in ‘What It Means to Be Part of the CityEscape Team’. Work related experience or a degree in management, landscape architecture, horticulture, or related field is required.

The individual selected for this position should be able to operate independently and work closely with all landscape personnel, subcontractors, management and clients. The individual selected for this position should be comfortable representing the company and owner with high profile clients. The person selected for this position should understand and embrace the company philosophy of meeting or exceeding client expectations.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Ability to lead projects through all phases, evaluate the performance and profitability of projects.
Consult with product manufacturers, evaluate and select construction materials.
Use in depth knowledge of trees, shrubs, ground covers, perennials, and annuals in preparing planting plans and landscape master plans.
Participate in the establishment and management of project budgets and schedules.· Establishing and maintaining client relationships – including initial client contact.
Developing relationships with landscape architects, developers and other entities to provide bid opportunities.
Preparation and/or review of estimates and bids.
Inspecting site of proposed work, discuss budget considerations and define objectives.
Attending and participating in weekly staff meetings, providing updates and forecasting.
Establishing and maintaining reporting procedures.
Scheduling of work and maintaining weekly/monthly calendar.
Overseeing project installation or maintenance to ensure end result will exceed client expectations.
Communicating project status, issues or concerns to the Owner in a timely fashion.
Assisting in scheduling of jobs.
Continually evaluate work and make suggestions for improvement to better meet client expectations.
Supervising crew leader/crew.
Maintaining high standard of quality in all work performed.

Job Requirements:

At least 2-3 years experience required, preferably in a project management or landscape architecture role.
Have a current pesticide license or be able to obtain license
Demonstrate strong communication skills.
Demonstrate accountability for work being performed and completed on schedule.
Demonstrate knowledge of landscape terminology, plant material, applicable construction material, and installation techniques.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Demonstrate ability in sales and customer service.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $87,500.00 per year
