Description:

The Consulting Engineers Group IL (CEG-IL) is seeking a BIM Modeler/Project Manager with 3-5 years of relevant experience to join our team.

For more than 55 years, CEG has provided specialty precast engineering consulting services for projects across the United States. Our projects range from parking structures to stadiums and arenas! RESPONSIBILITIES:

Interpret architectural and structural construction documents
Create fully parametric 3D models of precast building structures
Interpret engineer’s sketches and calculations
Prioritize goals and objectives, adhere to deadlines, and recommend and implement solutions for changes and improvements.
Uphold the highest quality of customer service; resolving problems, determining improvements and implementing change.
Interface with clients on inquiries.
Assist in meeting project objectives.
Maintain quality service by following organization standards.
Maintain safety by adhering to organization standards.
Attend meetings in-house to present updates and status.
Review master drawings for accuracy/completion/presentation.
Handle or delegate all drawing coordination with A/E, GC or EOR.

Requirements:

REQUIRED:

Associate Degree in Project Management, Construction Management or a related field (the candidate must possess equivalent combinations of technical training and experience).
At least 3 years of Revit experience.
Must be self-motivated and have a desire for continued learning and personal growth
Must be highly detail oriented with excellent organization skills
Positive attitude toward project challenges

PREFERRED:

Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or similar field is preferred.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without the need for employer sponsorship.
