Full Job Description

Kiddie Academy has an exciting opportunity for an Executive Director for our child care center in Naperville.

Would you like to lead a program and be part of a team that prepares children for school and for life? Are you a motivated, upbeat management professional in the Early Childhood Education field? We have the perfect opportunity for you!

We are looking for an excellent Executive Director to lead the operations of our high-quality education program. This is a wonderful opportunity for a seasoned early childhood director.

You will be part of the management team responsible for managing the overall program including program planning, program implementation and evaluation; student assessments, family relations, enrollments, human resources, staff scheduling and development and school operations.

What we ask you to have:

Minimum two (2) years of full-time experience in managing center-based programs in a Center Director, Assistant Director, or similar management role.
Bachelor’s degree in ECE or related field required, Master's degree preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proactive, solution-oriented leader with excellent organizational and communication skills and a proven record of maintaining effective relationships with staff, parents, and children.

DCFS Requirements:

Minimum of an Associate Degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education OR -64 semester hours in any discipline with a minimum of 21 hours of college credit in Child Development, Early Childhood Education
AND ONE OF THE FOLLOWING: - Gateways to Opportunity Level I Illinois Director Credential OR - 3 semester hours of college credit in Administration, Leadership, or Management
