Full Job Description

Position Overview:

The Finance & Accounting Coordinator will support the executive team with daily accounting tasks, accounts receivable / payable, reporting, and financial analysis across The Montage Portfolio Inc and its operating brands. This position is ideal for someone interested in learning the financial operations behind large-scale event management, facility leasing/rentals, hospitality services & fundraising.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with invoicing and tracking payments in QuickBooks, ensuring financial accuracy and proper documentation.
Help maintain financial records, organize supporting documentation, and ensure compliance with internal policies.
Assist with accounts payable and receivable processing, including invoice preparation, tracking, and reconciliation.
Support bank reconciliations and ensure transactions are accurately recorded across multiple business units.
Prepare expense reports, assist in budget tracking, and contribute to monthly financial reporting.
Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports for review by leadership.
Help research discrepancies and resolve issues related to payments, invoices, or expense allocations.
Assist in maintaining accounting spreadsheets, databases, and digital files.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data related to events, rentals, and client contracts.

Qualifications:

Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Experience with QuickBooks accounting software
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Proficient in Google sheets and comfortable working with spreadsheets.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
