Full Job Description

We’re currently seeking a passionate and experienced nurse leader to serve as Director of Health and Wellness at our beautiful senior livingcommunity. This is an incredible opportunity for a nurse who is not only clinically strong but also driven to create a supportive, engaged, and safe environment for residents living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

About the Role:

As the Director of Health and Wellness, you will lead the clinical and care operations of our Memory Care neighborhood, ensuring residents receive compassionate, personalized care in a secure and enriching environment. You’ll be the go-to leader for care staff, families, and physicians, and play a key role in supporting the overall quality of life for each resident.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Oversee day-to-day wellness operations for our Memory Care community
Supervise, coach, and train nursing and personal care staff
Complete initial and ongoing resident assessments and care plans
Monitor clinical outcomes, medication management, and care plan compliance
Partner with the Executive Director and interdisciplinary team on quality initiatives
Lead investigations and response to incidents or changes in resident condition
Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and dignity for all residents and staff
Serve as a primary clinical liaison for families and healthcare providers
Assist with hiring, scheduling, evaluations, and staff development
Ensure compliance with all state regulations and internal policies

What You’ll Need:

Active RN or LPN license in the State of Florida (Required)
2+ years of nursing experience; Memory Care or Assisted Living preferred
1+ year of nurse leadership experience (scheduling, coaching, performance)
Strong working knowledge of care planning, assessments, and clinical documentation
A passion for dementia care and a calm, compassionate leadership style
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to inspire, mentor, and lead by example in a fast-paced environment
