Established in 1996 in Southwest Florida, we pride ourselves on our patient-focused approach and comprehensive medical services across ten convenient locations.

Summary

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our dynamic team at Neuroscience & Spine Associates. This role is vital in managing the financial transactions related to patient accounts and ensuring timely collection of receivables. Your contributions will help us maintain our commitment to providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

Experience with Insurance companies preferred, especially Aetna and other Commercial insurance plans.
Manage accounts receivable processes including billing and collections for patient accounts.
Review and reconcile discrepancies in billing statements and patient accounts.
Communicate with patients regarding their account balances and payment options.
Collaborate with insurance companies, billing and coding teams to resolve claims issues and ensure timely payments.
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions related to accounts receivable.
Assist in revenue cycle management activities to optimize cash flow.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Respond to inquiries regarding account status and patient billing
Phones

Requirements

Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role.
Strong knowledge of revenue cycle management processes.
Familiarity with accounting software such as or Quicken is preferred.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and staff.
Excellent Phone etiquette is a must
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Basic understanding of ICD-10 coding is a plus but not required.
