SENIOR LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER – LUXURY RESIDENTIAL | SOUTHWEST FLORIDA

Location: Naples / Collier County, Florida
Compensation: $80,000–$100,000 base salary, plus performance bonus
Employment Type: Full-time

THE OPPORTUNITY

An established, well-regarded landscape design, installation and maintenance company serving luxury residential clients in Collier County is seeking an experienced Senior Landscape Construction Project Manager.

This person will be responsible for carrying landscape projects from design handoff through successful installation, ensuring that projects are properly scoped, scheduled, staffed and completed to the company’s quality and profitability standards.

The company has an experienced landscape designer who will remain actively involved on a part-time basis for an extended transition period. The Project Manager will work closely with the designer, field teams, vendors and company leadership to turn approved designs into well-executed projects.

This position is expected to grow into a broader operations leadership role as the company expands.

This is a confidential search related to a potential ownership transition. Employment would begin upon completion of the transaction, currently anticipated in late 2026. Qualified finalists will receive additional information and have an opportunity to meet the existing owner before making a commitment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Review approved landscape plans, proposals, budgets and project requirements before installation
Translate designs into clear scopes of work, material orders, crew assignments and installation schedules
Coordinate plant material, hardscape, irrigation, lighting, equipment, subcontractors and other project requirements
Manage multiple active projects from mobilization through final customer walkthrough
Maintain regular communication with clients, designers, vendors, crews and company leadership
Monitor labor, material usage, change orders, schedules and project-level profitability
Visit job sites regularly to verify workmanship, progress, safety and adherence to design intent
Anticipate and resolve field conditions, scheduling conflicts and material-availability issues
Coordinate project closeout, punch-list completion and transition to the maintenance team
Help strengthen estimating, purchasing, scheduling and project-management systems
Support the development and accountability of field supervisors and installation crews

QUALIFICATIONS

At least five years of experience in landscape construction, landscape installation or design-build project management
Strong working knowledge of the Southwest Florida green industry, including local plant material, growing conditions, suppliers and installation practices
Demonstrated ability to manage high-end residential landscape projects and demanding client expectations
Experience coordinating landscape, irrigation, hardscape and related outdoor-construction scopes
Ability to read and interpret landscape plans, specifications and estimates
Strong understanding of project budgets, labor planning, purchasing and job-cost management
Established relationships with local vendors, subcontractors or field talent are strongly preferred
Clear, professional communication skills and a hands-on, accountable management style
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel among job sites in Collier and surrounding counties
Bilingual English/Spanish capabilities are helpful but not required
FNGLA certification or relevant landscape, horticulture or construction credentials are preferred but not required

IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate has spent several years managing landscape installation projects in Naples or the surrounding Southwest Florida market. This person understands both the technical and customer-facing sides of luxury residential landscaping and is comfortable moving between client meetings, project planning, vendor coordination and active job sites.

This is not primarily a maintenance account-manager or landscape-design position. It is an operational leadership role for someone who can take ownership of project execution and help build a stronger, more scalable landscape business.

Base salary of $80,000–$100,000, depending on experience
