Overview
Join our dynamic culinary team as a Hibachi Chef/Line Cook, where your passion for food and flair for entertaining will shine! In this energetic role, you'll be at the heart of creating memorable dining experiences by expertly preparing and cooking dishes on the hibachi grill. Your enthusiasm for culinary arts, combined with your ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, will contribute to our vibrant restaurant atmosphere. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in a lively, customer-focused setting while delivering exceptional food service. Duties

Prepare and cook hibachi-style dishes with precision, flair, and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
Operate the hibachi grill safely and efficiently, managing multiple orders simultaneously during peak hours.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation standards.
Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients to support smooth kitchen operations.
Collaborate closely with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent service and ensure customer satisfaction.
Follow all food handling protocols, including proper storage, labeling, and waste management to uphold health regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within a restaurant or food industry setting.
Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques essential for hibachi cuisine.
Background in fine dining or high-volume restaurant environments is highly desirable.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
Experience with dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus, demonstrating attention to special dietary needs.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards during busy service hours.
