Position Overview

We're looking for a motivated Territory Sales Manager to develop new business, strengthen existing customer relationships, and grow sales throughout Western Kentucky and Middle Tennessee, including the Nashville metropolitan area. Using a consultative sales approach, you'll work closely with customers to understand their operations, identify opportunities, and develop solutions that improve productivity and efficiency. This role requires strong technical aptitude and the ability to connect customer needs with S&K Industrial's capabilities in automation, overhead lifting, material handling, conveyor systems, and other engineered solutions. Supported by an experienced engineering team, you'll help customers solve challenges, build lasting partnerships, and grow a successful territory over time.

What You’ll Do

Develop new business while strengthening relationships with existing customers across your assigned territory.
Travel throughout your assigned territory approximately 4–5 days per week to meet with customers, understand their operations, identify opportunities, and develop customized industrial solutions.
Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and technical solutions that demonstrate the value of partnering with S&K Industrial.
Prospect and develop new opportunities across manufacturing and industrial markets while growing a strong sales pipeline.
Collaborate with engineering and internal teams to develop practical solutions that meet customer needs and expectations.
Manage sales activity, opportunities, and market trends to support territory growth.

What You Bring

3+ years of proven success in outside sales, preferably within the overhead lifting, conveyance, and manufacturing automation industry.
Technical aptitude with the ability to understand customer challenges and explain complex solutions clearly.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on understanding customer needs and finding the right solutions.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to build trust and work with decision-makers.
Self-motivated and accountable, with the ability to manage a territory independently while working well with internal teams.
Strong organizational and follow through-skills with the ability to manage multiple customer opportunities.

Travel & Work Environment

Full-time, field based position
This territory covers Western Kentucky and Middle Tennessee, including the Nashville area. Most travel is day travel with occasional overnight stays depending on customer locations.
