Construction Estimator / Project Manager

Residential & Light Commercial Construction

Pay: $75,000–$120,000+ per year

We are a growing residential and light commercial construction company seeking an experienced Construction Estimator / Project Manager to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated construction professional who enjoys working directly with customers, preparing accurate estimates, managing projects from start to finish, and taking ownership of delivering exceptional results.

Responsibilities

As our Construction Estimator / Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects from the initial customer meeting through final completion.

Responsibilities include:

Meet with homeowners and commercial clients
Conduct site visits and field measurements
Review construction plans and specifications
Prepare accurate material and labor estimates
Present proposals and secure new projects
Coordinate project schedules
Order materials and schedule deliveries
Coordinate subcontractors and company crews
Manage project budgets and profitability
Process and manage change orders
Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the project
Perform quality control inspections
Resolve field issues promptly and professionally
Conduct final walkthroughs
Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to company quality standards

Qualifications

Minimum five (5) years of residential and/or light commercial construction experience
Proven estimating experience
Strong understanding of residential and light commercial construction methods and materials
Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience with Buildertrend or similar construction management software preferred
Experience with Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar estimating software is a plus
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
