SVA Construction is Hiring
SVA construction was founded with the customer in mind, we bring unmatched customer service to ever project we touch.

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage all on-site operations for our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership role for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment.

Supervise and manage all daily jobsite activities, including field crews, subcontractors, and vendors.
Develop, maintain, and execute project schedules to ensure timely completion.
Enforce and maintain strict safety standards and site cleanliness, including conducting safety meetings and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.
Monitor and ensure the quality of all work performed, making sure it adheres to project plans, specifications, and building codes.
Act as the primary on-site point of contact for project managers, clients, architects, and engineers.
Coordinate material and equipment deliveries to align with the project timeline.
Perform regular inspections and proactively identify and resolve potential construction issues.
Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including daily logs, progress photos, and incident reports.
Assist in project budget management by tracking costs and optimizing expenses.

Qualifications and skills

Minimum of 5 years of construction experience , with a proven track record of successful project completion.
Deep knowledge of construction methods, materials, sequencing, and best practices.
Comprehensive understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
Proficiency with construction management software, such as Raken or Microsoft Project.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other technical drawings.
OSHA-30 Is required
