Full Job Description

Sales Manager — Luxury Wedding & Event Venue
The Stone House | Nevada City, CA | Part-Time, Hybrid

The Stone House is a historic wedding and event venue in the heart of Nevada City, known for hosting unforgettable celebrations in a one-of-a-kind setting. We're looking for a driven Sales Manager to own our sales process from first inquiry all the way to signed contract someone who thrives on building relationships, closing deals, and helping couples fall in love with our venue.

What You'll Do

Own the full sales pipeline: respond to inbound inquiries, run discovery calls, send proposals, negotiate, and close contracts
Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective clients throughout their sales journey
Lead marketing efforts that support and grow the sales pipeline
Prepare weekly and end-of-month sales reports
Conduct in-person tours and attend contract signings on-site
Manage client and booking records in Tripleseat and create invoices in QuickBooks

What We're Looking For

High-end event sales experience strongly preferred
Experience with Tripleseat and creating invoices in QuickBooks a plus
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated and comfortable owning a sales process independently
Availability for evenings and weekends, since tours and signings often happen when clients are free
Reliable transportation to Nevada City for on-site tours and signings

Reporting
Reports to the General Manager.

Compensation & Schedule

$30/hour, plus 3% commission (open to negotiation for the right candidate)
Part-time to start, with room to grow into full-time as our pipeline expands
Hybrid schedule, remote flexibility for day-to-day work, with on-site presence required for tours, in-person signings, and any work requiring venue equipment
Monthly stipend provided toward phone/internet use for remote work
No health insurance or PTO benefits offered at this time
No background check required
Target start: as soon as possible

Interview Process
Phone interview, followed by an in-person interview, with a possible third round with ownership.
