Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Paralegal position based in White Plains, NY. The Paralegal will support attorneys in all phases of matrimonial and family law matters and play a key role in case preparation, document production and client communication.

Key Responsibilities

Support attorneys in all aspects of matrimonial and family law cases
Draft correspondence and prepare legal documents, including divorce documents and family court petitions
Must be proficient with NYSCEF, e-filing and e-Courts
Must be proficient with LexisNexis research
Manage discovery, including document collection, organization and compliance with discovery orders
Prepare trial notebooks
Process subpoenas and authorizations
Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
Assist with scheduling, case tracking, and general office support
Share telephone responsibilities and manage client intake communications

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of law office experience (required)
Paralegal certificate preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professional telephone demeanor
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Spanish-speaking is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $55,000 – $90,000 per year (commensurate with experience)

Schedule & Work Environment

Full-time, Monday to Friday
In-person role based in White Plains, NY (10601)
