Join an Established and Growing New Hampshire Family Law Team
Turco Legal is continuing to grow in New Hampshire, and we're looking for an exceptional family law attorney to join our established and expanding New Hampshire team. This is an outstanding opportunity to become part of one of New England's largest boutique family law firms while handling sophisticated cases alongside experienced attorneys in a collaborative, supportive environment.
Our New Hampshire office has become an important part of our regional practice, and we continue to invest in its growth. We're seeking an experienced attorney who wants to handle challenging family law matters, collaborate with outstanding colleagues, mentor younger attorneys, and build a long-term career with the firm.
If you have at least five years of experience primarily practicing family law in New Hampshire and are looking for more than just another lateral move, we'd love to speak with you.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced family law attorneys who enjoy practicing at a high level but would rather spend their time serving clients than managing payroll, accounting, technology, marketing, recruiting, human resources, and the countless other responsibilities that come with running a law practice. At Turco Legal, our experienced administrative and operational teams handle those responsibilities so our attorneys can focus on practicing law.
This opportunity may be particularly appealing if you've ever considered opening your own practice or joining a small firm but have hesitated because of the business responsibilities that come with it. Here, you'll enjoy the autonomy and satisfaction of practicing sophisticated family law while benefiting from the support, resources, and stability of an established regional firm.
We're looking for someone who enjoys practicing independently, exercising sound judgment, collaborating with colleagues when additional perspective is valuable, and contributing to a culture that values professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Represent clients in a broad range of family law matters, including divorce, parenting matters, child support, alimony, modifications, contempt proceedings, guardianships, adoptions, name changes, and related family law proceedings.
- Manage a sophisticated caseload from initial consultation through resolution.
- Prepare for and appear at hearings, mediation sessions, status conferences, depositions, trials, and other court proceedings.
- Negotiate fair and practical settlements whenever possible while preparing every case for trial when necessary.
- Develop and implement case strategy as matters evolve.
- Develop discovery strategy, including determining evidentiary needs and the appropriate timing of discovery.
- Perform legal research and prepare legal memoranda.
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests, discovery responses, correspondence, and settlement documents.
- Collaborate with and mentor associate attorneys while working closely with our Partners, Partners in Charge, and senior attorneys to deliver exceptional client service.
- Work closely with experienced paralegals and legal assistants in a collaborative team environment.
Minimum Qualifications
Please apply only if you meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
- Licensed to practice law and in good standing in New Hampshire.
- At least five years of experience primarily handling family law matters in New Hampshire.
- Comprehensive knowledge of complex financial issues arising in divorce, including business valuations, executive compensation, equity interests, forensic accounting, vocational assessments, and related financial matters.
- Extensive experience handling complex parenting matters involving relocation, domestic violence, substance use disorders, mental health issues, and high-conflict custody disputes.
- Demonstrated willingness to take appropriate cases through trial when settlement is not in the client's best interests.
- Excellent legal research, writing, advocacy, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional case management abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and modern legal technology.
- Reliable transportation.
- A willingness to work primarily from our Manchester office while enjoying a flexible hybrid work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
The following are not required but would be considered a plus:
- Certified Financial Litigator (CFL) designation.
- Experience handling family law appeals.
- Experience litigating interstate or international family law matters.
- Experience using modern practice management software.
- Interest in mentoring junior attorneys.

About Turco Legal
Turco Legal is one of New England's largest boutique divorce and family law firms, with approximately 20 attorneys and offices throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire. We focus exclusively on divorce and family law, allowing our attorneys to develop deep subject matter expertise while handling sophisticated litigation involving complex financial issues, high-conflict custody disputes, family law appeals, Hague Convention matters, guardianships, adoptions, and other challenging cases.
Our Manchester office serves clients throughout New Hampshire and continues to grow as demand for our services increases. We are seeking an experienced attorney who wants to become an integral part of an established, collaborative team while benefiting from the resources and infrastructure of one of New England's premier family law firms.
Our founder and Managing Partner, Damian Turco, previously served as President of both the Massachusetts Bar Association and the New England Bar Association, reflecting our longstanding commitment to leadership within the legal profession.
You'll have the backing of an established regional organization with approximately 20 attorneys, experienced administrative professionals, sophisticated marketing, proven technology, centralized billing and accounting, recruiting support, human resources, information technology, and an experienced leadership team. We've invested heavily in technology, centralized operations, marketing, recruiting, billing, and administrative support so our attorneys can spend more time practicing law and less time running a business.
Our centralized marketing team actively generates new client inquiries and supports the continued growth of each office, allowing our attorneys to focus on practicing law rather than business development alone.
Our attorneys are supported by highly experienced paralegals and legal assistants who collaborate across offices to ensure clients receive exceptional representation. We invest heavily in technology, professional development, and operational excellence because we believe outstanding client service begins with outstanding people.
We are equally committed to improving access to justice. Through our Justice for All Program, we provide reduced-fee legal services to qualifying individuals who otherwise could not afford experienced family law representation. We are also proud to donate 10% of our firm's profits to Lawyers for Civil Rights, reflecting our commitment to protecting civil rights and strengthening the rule of law.
Whether serving our clients, mentoring future attorneys, or expanding throughout New England, our goal remains the same: to build one of the nation's premier family law firms while creating an exceptional place for talented legal professionals to build meaningful, long-term careers.
