As a growing business, we're looking for a friendly and organized Call Taker to join our team and help us continue delivering exceptional service.

Job Summary
Garneau Electric is seeking a reliable and friendly Call Taker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for answering incoming calls, outbound calling, scheduling service appointments, providing basic information about our electrical services, and maintaining organized customer records. The ideal candidate will have have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask efficiently, and enjoy helping customers with their needs. Previous experience in customer service is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a growing company with a supportive team environment.

Job Requirements

Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience for all callers.
Ability to handle inbound calls and make outbound calls to follow up with customers, schedule appointments, and confirm service details.
Comfortable speaking to a variety of customers and providing clear, helpful information.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with a scheduling software (training provided).
Gather relevant information from callers to assess their needs accurately.
Take detailed messages and relay information to the appropriate team members.
Schedule service appointments and update customer records.
Provide basic information about our services and pricing.
Previous experience in customer service, call centers, or a similar role is a plus but not required.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn!
