Full-Time | Salary | Average +/- 40 Hours per Week | Seasonally Dependent Twin Barns Brewing Company | Meredith, NH

Twin Barns Brewing Company is looking for an experienced, motivated, hands-on Kitchen Manager to lead our back-of-house team at one of New Hampshire’s most recognized and respected brewpubs.

This is not just another kitchen management job. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a high-volume, high-energy food program inside a growing brewery brand with a loyal customer base, a strong team culture, and a real commitment to quality hospitality.

About the Role

We are looking for a leader who loves the pace of a busy kitchen, takes pride in consistency, and knows how to bring out the best in a team.

The right person is organized, accountable, positive under pressure, and willing to jump in wherever needed. You should be just as comfortable leading the line during a rush as you are managing schedules, food costs, inventory, vendors, training, and kitchen standards.

This is a visible leadership role in an open-concept kitchen environment, so professionalism, energy, and guest awareness matter.

You will help lead both our main kitchen operation and our Silo Food Truck, making this a dynamic role with variety, creativity, and room to make a meaningful impact.

What You’ll Do

As Kitchen Manager, you will:

Lead day-to-day kitchen operations, including staffing, execution, prep, service, and cleanliness.
Manage and support the kitchen team with clear expectations, coaching, training, and accountability.
Ensure food quality, presentation, speed, and consistency meet Twin Barns standards.
Oversee operations for both the brewpub kitchen and Silo Food Truck.
Create a positive, professional environment in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
Schedule kitchen staff based on seasonality, volume, and business needs.
Monitor and manage food cost, labor cost, inventory, and waste to hit agreed targets.
Order food and supplies on a regular schedule and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Maintain health, safety, sanitation, and ServSafe standards.
Stay aware of guest feedback, dining trends, and menu performance to help keep the food program fresh, competitive, and profitable.
Work closely with ownership and management to improve systems, execution, and the overall guest experience.

Minimum 3 years of kitchen leadership experience.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proven ability to manage food cost, labor cost, ordering, and inventory.
A calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure.
A passion for food, hospitality, and team development.
High standards for cleanliness, consistency, and execution.
ServSafe certification, or willingness to obtain it.
A desire to be part of a respected, growing hospitality business.
