Atlas Aircraft Center, Inc., a sister company of PlaneSense, Inc., is seeking a Quality Assurance Auditor for its dynamic Inspection Department.
The Quality Assurance Auditor is responsible to conduct regular and structured audits of procedures and paperwork, for the PlaneSense®, Atlas Aircraft Center, Inc. and Cobalt Air, LLC programs to ensure that they are being conducted with applicable requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Audit aircraft flight log discrepancies and corrective actions as well as nonscheduled maintenance record entries to see that they meet all inspection program requirements.
- Audit Inspection work order packages prior to and after the inspection. Additionally, produce/sign the Aircraft Status sheet after the audit is successfully completed for vendors other than AAC.
- Audit for PSI/Cobalt Air, Aircraft Flight Log pages to see that there is an additional maintenance record entry in the logbooks for each discrepancy and associated corrective action on the Aircraft Flight Log pages.
- Ensure for PSI/Cobalt Air all white Aircraft Flight Log pages are accounted for and archived with the aircraft records. In the case of a lost or destroyed original white aircraft logbook page archive the yellow carbonless copy in its place.
- For PSI/Cobalt Air DIL sheets are accurately completed and routed as necessary.
- Manage and update Calibrated Tool listing.
- Update wheel tracking spreadsheet as required.
- Audit AAC aircraft (non-PlaneSense) and shop work orders.
- Complete SB evaluations for Pilatus.
- Other duties assigned.
Qualifications
- Airframe and Powerplant License, preferred
- Corporate and or General Aviation Experience, with five plus years of turbo propellers or jets experience.
- Five years of Aircraft Quality and Inspection background.
- Inspection Authorization License, preferred
Education and/or Experience
- Airframe and Powerplant License, preferred
- High School Diploma required
Computer Skills
- Familiar with MS Office, Crystal Reports, Corridor and CAMP.
- Ability to learn other aviation software.

Atlas Aircraft Center, Inc. (AAC) is a Pilatus authorized fleet service and support center for the PlaneSense® fractional fleet. As an FAA certified Part 145 repair station, we specialize in Pilatus PC-12 turboprop aircraft and Pilatus PC-24 twin engine jet aircraft support, including turbine aircraft repairs, annual inspections, phase inspections, hourly inspections, modifications, and Service Bulletin compliance, as well as Avionics repairs and sales.
Atlas Aircraft Center is part of the PlaneSense, Inc. headquarters in Portsmouth, NH. Our state-of-the-art, 40,000 square foot hangar is equipped with slab heating, high-tech lighting, and Megadoors. These special fabric doors provide superior insulation capabilities to protect staff from inclement weather while also shielding customers’ aircraft from the elements. The very high ceilings and door openings accommodate all types of aircraft. An additional 44,000 square feet is dedicated to shop space and corporate offices.
Our Nevada maintenance facility is located in Boulder City, NV and features 36,000 square feet of air-conditioned hangar space. This Atlas Aircraft Center facility provides valuable support for the PlaneSense® fleet, mainly serving fractional share clients in the Western part of the U.S.
