Full Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and optimize CNC programs to manufacture complex components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Collaborate with engineers and machinists to ensure that the programs meet all technical and quality requirements.
Troubleshoot and adjust CNC programs to improve production quality and machine efficiency.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CNC machinery, tools, and software to ensure the effective implementation of programming techniques.
Conduct regular inspections and testing of the machined components to verify adherence to design specifications.
Document and maintain accurate records of programming, modifications, and performed adjustments.
Provide training and guidance to machine operators on the shop floor regarding the proper execution of CNC programs.
Continuously strive for improvements in existing processes to increase productivity and reduce waste.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

Strong working knowledge of CNC machinery, controls, and tooling

Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (such as Mastercam, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks).

Excellent understanding of GD&T and standard technical.

Training in Lean Principles and Six Sigma

Understanding of Process Flow, PFMEA

- Computer skills (MS Office - Excel, Word)

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Education:

A degree or certification in CNC Programming, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Three to Five years of experience working with CNC Milling or CNC Lathes. Familiarity with Okuma, Speedio, Star or Tsugami machines preferred
