Property Management Bookkeeper

PMI Integrity Properties – Lafayette, LA
Part-Time or Full-Time

Position Overview

PMI Integrity Properties is seeking an experienced and dependable Bookkeeper to join our property management team. We are open to both part-time and full-time candidates, depending on experience and availability.

This position will focus primarily on property management bookkeeping and owner accounting. The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple properties and owner accounts accurately.

Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience in the property management or real estate industry is also a major plus.

Responsibilities

Manage bookkeeping for multiple property owners and properties
Process and pay property owners accurately and on schedule
Process management company/PMI payments and fees
Enter and pay vendor bills and invoices
Review property income and expenses for accuracy
Maintain accurate owner ledgers and property accounting records
Assist with monthly owner statements and financial reporting
Perform bank and account reconciliations
Track management fees, maintenance expenses, vendor payments, and other property-related transactions
Research and correct accounting discrepancies
Assist with tenant and owner accounting questions as needed
Maintain accurate records within Rentvine
Work closely with property managers, maintenance staff, vendors, and company management
Perform other bookkeeping and accounting duties related to property management operations

Preferred Qualifications

Bookkeeping or accounting experience
Property management bookkeeping experience preferred
Experience with owner statements, trust accounting, accounts payable, and reconciliations is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Comfortable working with multiple properties, owners, and accounts
Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Schedule

We are open to the right candidate working either:

Part-Time – approximately 30 hours per week
Full-Time

Schedule and hours can be discussed based on experience and the needs of the position.

Experience with Rentvine or property management accounting should be clearly noted when applying.
