Lease Administrator

Location: East Windsor, NJ (Onsite)

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Lease Administrator to support a growing real estate and hospitality portfolio. This role will be responsible for administering lease agreements, maintaining property records, tracking critical lease dates, and ensuring compliance with lease obligations across multiple properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent analytical abilities, and hands-on experience with Yardi

Responsibilities

Manage the full lifecycle of lease administration for a multi-property portfolio
Review, abstract, and maintain commercial and retail lease agreements and amendments
Track critical lease dates including renewals, rent escalations, expirations, and tenant obligations
Ensure lease information is accurately entered and maintained within Yardi
Generate recurring reports related to lease activity, occupancy, rent schedules, and compliance requirements
Coordinate with accounting teams regarding rent collections, CAM reconciliations, billing adjustments, and tenant charges
Review and audit lease data to ensure accuracy and completeness
Serve as a point of contact for tenants regarding lease-related inquiries and documentation requests
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and property-level financial reporting
Maintain organized digital and physical lease files and supporting documentation
Collaborate with property management, operations, legal, and finance teams on lease administration matters
Support special projects, acquisitions, and portfolio growth initiatives as needed

Qualifications

3+ years of lease administration, property administration, commercial real estate, or related experience
Hands-on experience with Yardi is require
Strong understanding of lease terminology, rent schedules, lease abstracts, and tenant billing processes
Experience working with commercial, retail, hospitality, or mixed-use property portfolios preferred
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience reviewing contracts, legal documents, and lease agreements preferred

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting hospitality, retail, or commercial real estate portfolios
Familiarity with lease accounting concepts and CAM reconciliations
Experience generating reports and analyzing lease data within Yardi
