Full Job Description

Position Summary

Winged Foot Golf Club, a private golf club located in Mamaroneck, NY, is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Office Assistant to support the Club's Administrative Office. This position is ideal for an organized individual who enjoys administrative work, takes pride in accuracy, and is comfortable working with both paper and electronic records in a professional office environment.

The Office Assistant will provide general administrative support by organizing documents, processing mail, maintaining records, and assisting with a variety of office projects as needed. The successful candidate will be highly organized, technologically proficient, and able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Position Responsibilities

· Scan, organize, and electronically file documents.

· Maintain accurate paper and digital filing systems.

· Sort, open, and distribute incoming mail.

· Log and record member payments and checks received.

· Prepare documents for filing and archival.

· Operate office equipment, including high-volume scanners, copiers, and printers.

· Assist with data entry and document management projects.

· Support accounting, human resources, and administrative staff with clerical tasks.

· Maintain organized office records and workspaces.

· Perform other administrative duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualification Standards

· Previous administrative or office support experience preferred.

· Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Experience using scanners, copiers, and other office equipment.

· Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.

· Strong aptitude for learning new technology and office software.

· Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize work independently.

· Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Reliable, dependable, and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.

Education

· High school diploma or GED

Schedule

· Generally Monday through Friday

· Typical hours: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

· 20–30 hours per week

· Flexibility with days and hours may be available for the right candidate.

Physical Requirements

· Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.

· Ability to lift and move boxes or files weighing up to 25 pounds.

· Ability to operate standard office equipment on a daily basis.

· Perform repetitive motions as needed

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
