Full Job Description

SERVICE ELECTRICIAN WANTED

Leader Electric is an Electrical contracting company in business for 37 years, servicing all boroughs of New York City.

In addition to doing large contract jobs, we have a service department, handling trouble shooting requests and installations.

We are looking for an expert Electrical Mechanic to add to our talented Service Department.

It is a full time position, long term employment, steady work, offering health benefits and vacation.

Trouble shoot and repair residential and commercial electrical problems.

Perform installations of contracts up to $10,000.

Work alone or with 1-2 helpers

Drive from job to job in a company van

Responsible for billing and collecting payment at end of job.

Minimum of 8 years experience.

Must be an excellent mechanic having a thorough knowledge of electrical theory and installations

Familiar with commercial and residential work.

Must possess a valid OSHA 30 card, and Training Connect 40 hour card

Must have a clean NYS driver’s license

Ability to accurately assess time and material needs of a project

Has a thorough knowledge of materials and their applications

Must be up to date on National Electrical Codes

Soft Skills:

Has excellent customer service skills in dealing with clients

Perfect command of the English language, both verbal and written

Meticulous, organized.

Able to provide 3 excellent work related references.

Pay: $32.00 - $42.00 per hour
