ABOUT US

New York Laser & Skin Care is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our cosmetic dermatology and laser surgery practice on Manhattan's Upper East Side.

Led by an internationally recognized dermatologist, our private practice specializes in cosmetic dermatology, laser surgery, skin cancer, skin rejuvenation, injectable treatments, and advanced aesthetic procedures. Our state-of-the-art Fifth Avenue office features one of the country's most comprehensive collections of laser technology and an internationally recognized skin and laser research center.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an RN who wants to build a long-term career in dermatology, aesthetics, cosmetic procedures, and laser medicine while working alongside one of the leaders in the field.

Responsibilities

As a Dermatology RN, you will work closely with our physician and clinical team to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities include:

Assist with cosmetic dermatology, laser, and dermatologic surgical procedures
Prepare patients for treatments and procedures
Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care
Patient education regarding treatment plans and post-procedure instructions
Suture removal, dressing changes, and wound care
Assist with injectable and laser treatment procedures
Document patient care using EMA (Modernizing Medicine) EMR
Ensure OSHA, HIPAA, CLIA, and infection control compliance
Sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms
Monitor and maintain laser equipment
Maintain clinical inventory and order medical supplies
Assist with clinical research studies (training provided)
Deliver an exceptional patient experience with professionalism and compassion

Qualifications

Required

Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
Bachelor's degree
BLS/ACLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of experience in Dermatology or Plastic Surgery
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced private practice
Strong attention to detail
Professional, polished, and patient-focused

Candidates with experience in medical dermatology, cosmetic procedures, plastic surgery, laser medicine, facial aesthetics, or outpatient procedural nursing are encouraged to apply.
